Get to Know Mohammed Babangida

Son of former Nigerian President, Ibrahim Babangida,  Mohammed Babangida is the founder and principal partner of Capital Chambers, which is a law firm dealing with oil, gas, and energy law intelligence.

Mohammed Babangida has also performed as a high-profile delegate to several critical events, including being a member of the Presidential Committee on the review of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1999, a member of the review committee of the African Rural and Agricultural Finance Association (AFRACA), and a member of the International Observer Team to the Parliamentary Election in the Republic of SaoTome and Principe.

Highly educated, including education at Harvard Law School, Babangida has written articles in contribution to the OGEL arena (oil, gas and energy law).

On a personal note, Mohammed Babangida highly reveres the late Imam Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmud Adam, who has taught him a great deal about Islam. Additionally, Babangida is an avid polo player and is looking to take the sport into the next generation on Nigeria’s behalf.
